Built in the late nineteenth century, on what was known as the Butcher’s Square – the old slaughterhouse Quito, which also used to perform bullfights, stands the Teatro Nacional Sucre, expression of Renaissance classicism, which houses throughout the second floor, and including the terrace, the most important restaurant in which the city: THEATRUM Restaurant & Wine Bar, which is a great event for the catering and tourism in the city and the country. Its unique location and exterior architectural design, combined with a sleek contemporary decor, they have become the best alternative restaurant in the historic center of Quito.

Theatrum offers outstanding Mediterranean cuisine, where seafood, fish, meat, poultry and ducks are combined and flavored with herbs, spices and local and imported ingredients.
